Dolphinman Battles the Sex Lobsters - 2016
Production by: TROMA
Distribution by: TROMA
Legendary Troma superhero Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D. contracts a deadly new STD, Sex Lobsters. Sgt. Kabukiman spreads the sex lobsters around town wreaking havoc on Tromaville. While seeking medical help, Kabukiman is captured by Dr. Zac Amico, HPV. What does Sgt. Kabukiman do when he’s captured by an evil doctor and the Toxic Avenger is away on vacation? He calls Dolphinman to the rescue of course.
Dolphinman battles The Sex Lobsters is anciently racist, Irish folklore. This Troma tale is told in short form by Irishman Cunty Cunterson direct from is pub in 1897 Ireland. This could easily be considered a short sequel in the Kabukiman legacy of films for any Sgt. Kabukiman fans out there. It is great to see Troma’s legendary characters live on, even in short order form. The quality of filmmaking is very low budget Troma fashion with an estimated $50 budget? With such a short story to tell, it ultimately ended up feeling like a fan made, viral video, that the filmmakers had fun with. A fun 14 minute watch for any die hard Troma fans. “Lobsters are the shit.”
